Info On Sidley Please.

I am moving to this area shortly and have a job lined up at Sidley CP school. I have seen a great house in Sidley, just off the high street. Is Sidley a nice area, it seemed very friendly when I visited and The Bull Inn looked a lovely pub. Grateful for any advice relating to area. I.m fine with bus info etc as Webmaster, Alastair, was great help, but would be grateful for advice on how quiet it is and whether crime is bad in area. Thank you.

Sidley - Don't Do It!

If I am completely honest with you, moving to Sidley would be a v. bad idea. At night the streets are controlled by yobs. If you were to move, I would suggest you commute from inner Bexhill.

Thank you Ethan I will take that on board. Sadly yob culture seems to everywhere now. I live in Bromley at present and we have it here. Would you say mainly the council area or are the yobs everywhere?
I was looking at Suffolk Street.
So if anyone lives in or around Suffolk Street and wants to be very honest, many thanks.

Hi,
I live on Suffolk road, everyone who lives on this road are all really nice and friendly. It is quite convenient for the shops ect. However there a couple of youths from familys on North Road and Buxton drive who do cause disturbances, mainly on the main road and on the green by the New Inn.

Hi I am thinking of moving to Sidley. I have read the feedback from Tash and Ethan and this has given me cause for concern I know this was in 2007/2008 has the area improved? I have two teenage children so I want to make sure it will be a good move for them both. I understand Bexill is an up and coming area please could somebody advise. Thanks.

With two teenage children, I would look elsewhere in Bexhill. I think Tash and Ethan have given a good assessment of Sidley.

Hi Lynn

We moved to Little Common 2 months ago and love it. A lot of people are telling me that sidley is very undesirable. Any reason why sidley as there are a lot nicer areas in Bexhill around. I do have a friend that lives there and she is would like to move out of there. Best thing to do is to visit at different times of the day inc evening. Hope this helps.

im thinking of moving to sidley but after reading these comments and info I'm really concerned these posts was written in 2007/8/9 being 2016 now is it any better? Or is it a no go area still? Thanks
