95 Bus Route

This bus route is supposed to serve the community.However, on frequent occassions the bus does not show.For example, on 17.07.12 the bus from Little Common at 1600 did not show.There were several elderly people waiting enroute for the 95 bus to go to Bexhill & see the Olympic Torch on the seafront.Sadly, the people went home.Shame on you Renown buses.Shame on you Rother District Council. Have respect for the local people.Without reliable buses serving the community, Bexhill Town would die.

Unsurprised

I would not be one whit surprised if the reason for the no-show Renown buses is sheer old age. Their fleet is just about as geriatric as their passengers and sometimes I do not know how these elderly warhorses mmake it on to the road. Shouldn't the transport authorities be looking into this as a matter of some urgency?

The renown company are rubbish!! The 95 never turns up, it's always 30 minuets + late when it eventually gets there a numerous amount of the bus drivers are rude!! For example my partner and I couldn't get on the bus the other day because we paid for out fair with a £5.00 note and he said he didn't have enough change.. So therefore we couldn't get on..that is just not acceptable.. I have phoned renown several times over the past few months asking where the bus is? As it's late.. As usual.. All the staff are so unhelpful they say they will call you back but they never do.. I am tired of complaining!!! They still haven't done nothing for me.. I asked to speak to a manager or someone higher than the staff I was speaking to on the phone.. But according to them.. The manager was out of the office, overall I am discussed in the behaviour of the staff, they haven't helped me at all. And still haven't made none of the changes I complained about.

Yet again, just last Monday, the 95 bus did not. it was a cold day, several people were waiting at the bus stop near Sainburys.And now the council propose a 2 hourly schedule. So if the bus doesn't show, as it doesn't on frequent occasions, the public will have to wait 4 hours for the next bus . Bexhill is not the place to live. Better to move out. .Bexhill is no longer on the map.

I wouldn't be surprised if none of the Renown workers look at this forum. Have you phoned Renown directly to ask them what happened to the bus when it didn't turn up?

I have expected them to cancel this route for a couple of years now.

the longest I have waited due to buses not turning up was 2 hours. I don't bother now.
