local churches host a Christian musical drama group and raise £727 for homeless people. We will all agree this is good. The director said those involved have a 'Heart of Gold' and 'showed self sacrifice and put others first.' One of these churches, the one the director attends, is also raising money to repair their church roof at a cost of £70,000. So those in need get £727 and those in this one church £70,000 nearly 100x as much. Sadly this is repeated across Bexhill churches again and again. They raise a few hundred pounds for those in need and want praise, then take tens of thousands. The church is there to give and help those in need, not take thousands of pounds out of society so cuts have to be made for the elderly and disabled. Shame on all churches and those attending who rob the poor for their buildings.
A Better Use

Agreed, isn’t it about these unused and unwanted old buildings were pulled and something useful put in their place.
