Louise Gurr

I am looking for any information on my fathers family, his mother lived in London rd bexhill and died in a car accident a long time ago her name was Louise Gurr. My father surname was Stimson we can't find anything about his father we haven't got a first name,don't think he ever married his mother and don't know if Gurr was his mothers maiden name or not.
My father was born in 1925

Hi Louise, I don't know if this will help or not, but I was at school with a Brian Gurr and he would have been born in 1949 sadley he died a few years ago. The one thing I remember about Brian was that he was an only child and he lived only with his mum . Their house was just before Woodsgate park in London rd, it was one of the council houses that is below the main footpath on the left hand side heading towards Sidley.

Sorry Louise, getting Brian mixed up with another old school friend. But Brian was at shool the same time as me until 1964.
