Ernest Bashford

According to the 1911 census, my great-grandfather Ernest Bashford was living in the Manor Lodge on Hastings Road in Bexhill. He was employed as gardener to the Dumont family who resided in the Manor House. Does anyone know if either of these buildings is still standing, and does anyone know anything about the Dumont family?
